When a Reference to a Name is Lost

Performance and Video, 2023.

Personal history, national narratives, code, and sound facilitate a debugging session of a memory leak: a type of software bug that gradually makes memory unavailable and depletes the system of resources.

Video Poster Image Description

Still from a performance. Zoomed in crops arranged in a grid of a Hebrew textbook with rectangular holes cut into it reveal and obfuscate a moment from a video: light skinned person in their thirties wearing glasses and a dark blue buttoned down shirt is standing next to a microphone. Behind them is a projection of the same grid of holes at an angle.
